The techniques used with the Artlenz System® can be quick and easy or, depending on lens alignment, more demanding. Unique cards are possible with each technique, with the final result affected by:
image selection,
card design,
coloration, and
alignment.
Once you have learned the basic steps, you will find endless combinations to use the Artlenz System® with your stamp collection.
We recommend that you start with Active Image™ Print Paper, where lens alignment is less critical. To conserve lens in the learning stage, cut an AL 45A lens sheet in half. The smaller pieces allow you to get a feel for aligning the lens, removing the liner, and applying the lens to your stamped piece. A good practice is to always lay the lens on the paper and move it around to observe the lens/image interaction. Once comfortable with handling the lens, you are ready to create card images.
The following examples are presented in order of increasing challenge.
