Using the Quilt Design Stamps

Tips for using the stamp:

  • Ink lightly if applying ink pad directly to AZ stamp.
  • Brayer lightly and evenly when using a brayer.
  • Tsukeneko sponge tools, jumbo dauber, and ink sweeper are excellent for applying ink or removing excess ink.
  • Over-inking will flood the print lines and prevent the images from reacting with the lens.
  • Use fingertips to press all portions of the ShadowCircles stamp to paper (do no use excess pressure--this will result in a distorted image and the lens effect will be lost).

Quilt Design 1 has nine geometric shapes consisting of a center square and triangles that alternate. Quilt Design 2 has sixteen small triangles and two small squares. These 3” X 3” stamps offer a unique background for stamping. Results are stunning with easy lens alignment. For efficient lens use start with an AL 810 sheet and cut it into 2 7/8” squares to just fit the stamped Quilt image. Save any excess lens for small embellishments.
