Using the SnowStars Stamp
The SnowStars stamp makes a great background for winter/holiday images. Simply brayer the SnowStars stamp and stamp it direct to paper. The 'magic' effects are built into the stamp. Ink conventional holiday/winter theme stamps and stamp direct to paper on top of the SnowStars image. Align and apply the lens.
Tips for using the SnowStars stamp
- Ink lightly if applying ink pad directly to AZ stamp.
- Brayer lightly and evenly when using a brayer.
- Tsukineko sponge tools, jumbo dauber and ink sweeper, are excellent for applying ink or removing excess ink.
- Over inking will flood the print lines and prevent the image from reacting with the lens.
- Use finger tips to press all portions of the SnowStars stamp to paper (do not use excess pressure – this will result in a distorted image and the lens effect will be lost).
