The Projects for the months of July and August were an Alaskan cruise, visits to stamp stores along the way, and visits with the grandchildren. Stores in Anchorage, Vancouver, Victoria, and the Seattle area have added the enjoyment of Artlenz for their customers. 'Project of the Month' is being changed to 'Gallery'. The objective of show-casing Artlenz ideas and techniques will not change.
The latest addition to the Gallery features our newest and most exciting Artlenz design called 'SnowStars'. This is a 4” x 5” design of snowflakes and stars with features that appear and disappear at different viewing angles (stars 'twinkle' – snowflakes. As always with Artlenz cards, photos are no match for in-hand visual impact. You must experience the effect!
Tip for using the SnowStars stamp: Ink lightly if applying ink pad directly to AZ stamp. Brayer lightly and evenly when using a brayer. Tsukineko sponge tools, jumbo dauber and ink sweeper, are excellent for applying ink or removing excess ink. Use finger tips to press all portions of the SnowStars stamp to paper (do not use excess pressure – this will result in a distorted the image and the lens effect will be lost).
