January 2005
- Valentines and Friends are the subjects for the inaugural card/project of the mouth. These cards demonstrate using the 3X Grid 109/2s stamp by direct and transfer stamping.
Valentines

Brayer the grid stamp with red Vivid ink and stamp direct to glossy paper. Next, stamp hearts and word directly to paper using Vivid red and black inks. Align and apply the lens. Note: Lens alignment is generally less critical with the Grid stamp. Attractive results are obtained as long as the lens and card near vertical alignment.
- Stamps used:
- Hearts – Magenta
Love - Denami
Friends
Ink the small and medium 'dot' stamps with Kaleidacolor Creole Spice and stamp randomly on the Grid stamp. Stamp the Grid direct to glossy paper. Stamp 'friends conversation' circle and 'stipple dot' stamps, using any of the colors on the Creole pad, direct to paper. Use black Vivid ink and stamp 'friends definition' direct to paper and position and stamp 'magnifying glass' over friends. Align and apply the lens. For this example the lens was aligned so that you see defined squares in the stamped circle images.
- Stamps used:
- Hero Arts stamp sets – Dots; Conversation; Definitions
