September 2006

October is the time for pumpkins, ghost and Halloween cards. If you have a round shadow stamp, a star (or stars) stamp, a man in the moon (optional) and a witch you can create a card that will be remembered long after Halloween has past.

Stamps & Supplies Used:

-- Large Artlenz AZ 4050 stamp
-- Stars stamp - Hero Arts
-- Man-in-the-moon stamp - Hero Arts
-- Round Shadow stamp - Rubber Stampede
-- Broom Zelda stamp - Uptown Stamps
-- Impress 'Indigo', 'Lemon yellow' and 'Pansy' ink - Tsukineko
-- Orange/yellow markers
-- Ancient Page 'Black' ink - Clearsnap
-- Sponge dauber - Tsukeniko

  1. Ink round shadow stamp with Lemon Yellow ink and stamp in the right or left upper corner on the large AZ stamp. Ink the stars with Indigo and stamp randomly on the AZ stamp around the circle shadow image. Stamp AZ stamp on white glossy card stock.

  2. Stamp additional stars direct to paper with Indigo ink.

  3. If using a man-in-the-moon, ink with Indigo ink and stamp direct to paper over/around the circle shadow image (this must be an open type stamp so the yellow 'moon' shows through).

  4. Ink witch with black Ancient Page and stamp direct to paper.

  5. Color in with a Dove Blender using orange and yellow ink pads or use orange and yellow markers.

  6. Use a sponge (Tsukineko dauber) to sponge around edge of card with Pansy ink.

  7. Align and apply the lens.

  8. Edge with marker if desired and layer with complimentary card stock.
